Discover Neuro Therapy (Stroke and Brain Injury Rehab)

Discover Neuro Therapy provides continuing education for Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Physical Therapy Assistants, and Occupational Therapy Assistants who desire to develop or improve their clinical skills for achieving results for their adult patients with hemiplegia from a stroke or brain injury.

Discover Neuro Therapy provides private therapy services for the rehabilitation of adults with stroke & brain injury using the Neuro-Integrative Functional Rehabilitation and Habilitation approach (Neuro-IFRAH®).  Amy Howell, OTR/L can assist you with any stage of your recovery.  She is available for consultation for therapists who would like to further assist their patients as well. 

Discover MFR (John Barnes Myofascial Release)

Discover Neuro Therapy offers private therapy myofascial release treatment sessions at her home or on the road.  Amy Howell, OTR/L is trained in the use of myofascial release (John Barnes) which is a safe, gentle and effective, advanced form of body/mind work that works to release restrictions in the fascial system.  Fascial strains slowly tighten as a result of trauma, inflammation, or postural alignment issues and cause dysfunction in the body.  Myofascial Release (MFR) can help alleviate the cause of many symptoms that people have rather than just the symptoms.  Amy offers a free initial consultation/treatment to help you learn more about MFR and how it can help you.
